Permachive

<aside> 🖥️ Building a profit-sharing community to upload and host data files onto an Arweave archiver. This project incentivizes users to upload news through social media sites, news sources, research posts, etc. onto a permanent archive hosted on Arweave. By allowing for easy access to a wide and searchable database, Permachive creates a decentralized platform for accessing uncensored news.

My vision would be for this to organically grow into the largest and most trusted (profit-sharing) archival organization in the world that does the following:

1. Open source archivers research.
2. Run archivers through a weekly/monthly testing process.
3. Post/curate content re: archived data and their global impact.
4. Enable users to sift through information via an interactive frontend (eg search engine, graphs).
5. Provide “institutional” grade support for analog/web2 users looking to develop PSC archivers or archive their own material.
6. Gamify archiver selection that’s community-driven (eg pre-pool or voting mechanism). These are just some ideas that come top of mind.

Goal: expand globally as a long-term organization, preserve history + heritage, and become “the lion’s historian.”
